The Lexus engine that the 5.7 was paterned after had direct port injection which has increased gas mileage and power(20hp) on some engines. will it be on the 2009 or 2010? the new Sequioa was suposed to have a gas mileage system less complicated than cylinder shut off but i have not seen it yet. i am one that will wail for the 2009 or 2010 tundra if it has some good up grades. keep us all up dated on what is heard for the new models.
