Default Re: Thinking of getting an older prius

I have a 2007 Prius. I purchased it mainly for my wife who commutes about 40miles each way to work everyday. We are glad that we went with the Prius. Her car is averaging about 50 miles per gallon. We were considering a camry hybrid. Although we bought the car new, it already had 200 miles on it because we had to get it allocated from another dealership which was about 170 miles away. Anyhow, we have not had any issues with the car. I know that the batteries are supposed to last for a long time. I have a neighbor that has one of the original Prius, the ones that look like toyota echos, with no issues at all. He gets about 35-39 miles per gallon with it. Good luck on your Prius.
