I am not that against the Toyota Tacoma bed but the some of the interior parts and components from anything 2005 and up has been cost cut. Yes they have added features such as puddle lamps, and mirror signals (because many people believe that they NEEDS) require them when I reality they don't.
I remember a time when Toyota had metal screens on top of their Toyota truck headlamps...I also remember a time when Toyota had plastic covers for the seat anchors.
