Tundra8, BTW I agree with you that the 08 Sequoia Nav is a poor design and that there are other vehicles and portable GPS's with far better designs. Nav is important but its nowhere near as important as seating, power, towing, comfort, flexibility and probably a dozen other features in an suv that matter more than the Nav.

The Nav is even less important as a final deciding factor because there are enough work arounds to make it work quite well such as

Considering that you can't change the seating, power, towing capability and comfort in an SUV without dramatic investments and that the GPS can be addressed with relatively minor upgrades by comparison, it would seem rather short-sighted to choose another SUV merely because it has a better Nav system, particularly if the other more important features are less than the Sequoia's.
