I also think the 4.7 will get revamped to be on par with the 5.7 technology such as dual vvt-i, aluminum block and such. I think lexus already have DI motors, I could be wrong, it's just a matter of time. Just doesn't make sense having a smaller motor that only gets the same mpg as the larger motor.
