Default New Owner Gas Mileage Question.
Hello,

I'm new here and this is my first SUV so cut me a little slack. A month ago I purchased a 2005 Limited 2WD Sequoia. The vehicle has 31k miles on it. So far I've been getting around 250 miles to a tank. When I fill up it takes 22 gallons of gas, which is an abysmal 11.3 miles per gallon. I drive until the gas light comes on and then I drive a little further. Then I "fill up" and it has yet to be over 22 gallons. I live in Atlanta and therefore most of my driving up until this point has been city driving to and from work. Not exactly the best baseline for comparison but this is getting expensive quick.

Any help would be appreciated. For example, I've read that underinflated tires can contribute to worse gas mileage. What PSI are you guys running on your Sequoias?
