Help me remember back. Was it 1977 for the Firestone 500 recalls? I had the tires which matched by serial, but I couldn't get Firestone to do anything. I elected to pay for new tires. It wasn't right, not fair and I had no further trouble. Sometime tires are good, sometimes not. If you don't have a family attorney on retainer, you got to buy your own tires sometimes.
