Default Re: Finally fixed my dash rattle

Hey Guys, I Have A 2007 Crewmax And I Too Started Hearing A Rattle That Seemed To Be Coming From The Glove Box. I Followed How (jumbo Jet) Fixed His But Didn't Get The Same Results. I Had My Wife Whom Thought I Was Crazy Drive Me Around So I Could Listen And Find This Damn Rattle, after About 10 Minutes The Rattle Started Getting Louder And Louder My Wife Couldn't Believe A Truck With 4,000 Miles Would Do This. Man I Was Getting Pissed. I Called The Dealer And The Service Manager Said Bring It Down So A Tech. Can Take A Look. I Told The Tech. I'm Not Crazy Or Hearing Things And To My Surprise He Said I Know You Would Not Be Hear If There Wasn't Something Wrong. I Drove While The Tech Sit In The Passenger Side To Listen Now This Was When Both Glove Box's Were Removed. After About An Hour He Started Tapping Around On Everything Dash, etc. When He Tapped Where The Headliner Is Close To The Windshield To The Right Of The Maplights There It Was That Disturbing Rattle . The Tech. Found A Wire Loose In The Headliner. He Said The Headliner Has A Diagram That The Wires Are Glued To And There Wasn't Any Glue In That Particular Spot So He Put Foam Around It And Glued It To The Headliner Thank God, It's Fixed.i Can't Believe How Much Stronger The Truck Sounds With No Rattles Good Luck To All And Thank's.
