What are your thoughts? Your advice is appreciated.
You do not need pulse generator for DVDs on NAV. You just need to tap into back up camera. Although some relays will be needed and a switch, that will fool the NAV that you are in reverse mode, but relays provide the feed from DVD player, whatever you decide to use, even iPod can work, as long as those RCAs are accessible.
WileETundra did it with his NAV. I did it as well, but with pro help. WileETundra had a description how to on his site. Under NAV DVD player hack.2007 Toyota Tundra Mods by WileETundra
Pulse generator is tapping into a speed sensor wire. So I have 2 switches (Chiplee thanks those are looking good). One to play DVDs in my case it is from overhead. Second to access the NAV functions. Here you go.
