Also does this unit have their own speakers? or do you have to play the unit via FM transmitter through your radio?

Okay quick update I don't use these on a regular basis or anything since I don't have kids and all but wanted something for that every now and then for the nephew and neices are back there and for the money is was a cheap inverstment, I got to say there still working as good as the day I put them in. The few times they have been used everyone impressed at how well they look and work. As for warranty and stuff I realy was not to concerned since if they last a year they payed for themselves especially if you have kids.

Oh no problem with viewing angles either.
The setup comes with wireless headphones and hardwired headphones. FM transmitters are built in so you can send the audio to the radio if you want too and if you want to go through the process it also has audio output RCA connections too for both outputs and inputs and video in and out also for anyone interested. I hope this answers your questions.

I still can't see the wires that you "snaked" through the seats. You hid them well. Would you mind taking pics of where/how they were "snaked"?
Good work.

Okay as for snaking the wires Its rather simple process the wires are attached to the headrest and coming out the end of the headrest tubes that slide into the seat top. If you remove your headrest you will see what I am talking about it has 2 holes that just goes into the seat back. So when you flip up the leather flap under the bottom of the seat (un-clip 2 plastic white clips) I just used a fish tape and ran it down to the headrest post holes and down the open area, attached a piece of string and fished it up and attached the wires with some tape before putting the headrest post into the seat and pulled the wire to the bottom of the seat were you can wire things up. After hooking everything up I sneaked the wires into the bottom of the center console and wired it all up under there (lots of room under there) then ran the cigarette lighter plug that came with it into the center dash were I plugged it into the aux plug in there.
I did find this one picture I took during it all that should give you idea if the wire coming down under the seat area.
