The only carry-over resemblance to me is the spoiler which is a unique trait that makes it stand out as a Toyota. Take the spoiler away and you would have very different looking rear ends IMO.

The side aspect is a little off I dont like the rear door's that much somewhat dissorted if you ask me Gen One look's better on the side.Gen two front end is nicer and Gen two rear end is more redefined it's the side profiling I don't like
