The Sequoia is now my everyday driver and I'm astounded by how many nanny controls this thing has. In my first 2 weeks I had to make mods that override the overbearing chime on the seat belt and the restrictions on the Nav. I have to go through an Einstein algorithym of button presses to turn off the stability control. I can't run my fog lights without my low beams on. I can't run my fog lights with my hi-beams on. I can't watch a movie on the nav without the parking brake. I can't fold the electric 3rd row seats without stopping first.
Gimme a break...yes I believe Toyota (or at least their corporate lawyers) think their customers are morons. Look at the multitude of nanny controls.

To some extend Yes Toyota is Lame on a few feature and Audio for one is decent yet hardly I would say is special in term's of great sounding.Why can't Toyota drop JBl and find someone a whole lot better supplier.From the sounds of it Toyota really doesn't care since it's cheaper in the long run to go with Jbl yet feature wise they don't compare to Honda system or other Like Gm who provides Bose or Bmw which is Harmon .
Your Navi issue is indeed correct I also can't turn on my fog's and have High beam's on either.Then again being on Ts there are mod's to perform these overrides and you have great members helping you out but why doesn't the factory have these are preset options built into the Tundra/Seq electrical system ?.One other nanny control is the I accept feature on Navi in general why some dam Lawyer made this on all Navi's devices is beyond me but a total waste of our times pressing that button.From the sound's of this we might be pickey but hell Not stupid as Toyota makes it's drivers sound like.If you think about it Society has created all these warning label's hell look at you visor with all that information sadly people like be on law suit's High like the lady who spilled Hot coffee at McDonalds and received a Million dollar suit..
