Not a big surprise to me. In fact I was suggesting that the Tundra and Sequoia would be hurt by higher gas prices back in Dec. when I was shopping for one. I take no satisfaction or dissatisfaction in the sale or lack of sale of a vehicle I personally own. I leave that type of passion to folks like you and others that get emotional about innaminate objects like vehicles.

To me they are just conveniences and when it comes to buying one I want the one that best meets my needs and delivers value for my investment.

There is no doubt and its an unrefutable fact that the Sequoia is the best vehicle for MY needs. It is my opinion that the Sequoia is the best value on the market when shopping for a full size suv with the latest in passenger comfort and towing abilities. It is reasonable to conclude that if interior aesthetics is more important than maximum passenger space than the QX is a strong competitor and maybe even a better choice.

If the QX had more interior space and more hp (and a nicer looking exterior) it would be in my garage as we speak. In neither case would the LX or LC have been in the running....even if the price were the same as the QX and Sequoia. Ridiculous to even consider the LC/LX at $20K more IMO.
