Default Re: tacoma VS fj cruiser

Well my cousin just bought an 08 Trail Teams Special Edition FJ Cruiser. He bought it from Toyota 101 in the Bay Area and I got to drive it down to Orange County to deliver it to him. I am in love! Well when I got my Tacoma I chose it over the FJ because I needed the higher towing capacity and longer wheel base to tow my FJ40. I didn't get the 07 Tundra because I would have had to wait about a month and I really didn't want something that big. The Tacoma seemed to be the perfect compromise. Well, now I am contemplating trading in my Tacoma for a SR5 5.7 DC Tundra and buying an FJ as my daily driver. My other option is buy a FJ and S/C my Tacoma, this will be a little more cost friendly and probably the better choice. My Tacoma handles the weight of my FJ40 well, but the Tundra sure would be nice if I didn't have to drive it all of the time as it really is just to big for my daily driver. Who knows, maybe I will just get over my initial excitement of the FJ and keep my Tacoma a few more years and then go from there.

Heres a picture of his new FJ and FJ40. It was taken on a phone so quality sucks, but you can see why I was stoked!
