As far as tips...only thing I can suggest is to make sure you understand the process and watch the video and read the tutorial, everything you need is there. Make sure to take your time on the paint and do at least 3 coats, evenly. Don't try to get it completely black in one shot. Be patient. That's about it

The patient part is why I am waiting so I have more time and don't feel rushed by wife, kids, etc. Also, I have watched the video and read and found very helpful practicing on a sacrificial light!
