I guess once you own a 3/4 ton and then a Tundra it's difficult to understand why people overload their rigs when there's other trucks more capable. All the undo stress on the bearings, transmission, engine frame, and axle is not needed. I will NEVER tow more than 8k lbs and put in 1,500 lbs in my Tundra and the person that buys my Tundra will have a great truck that will last forever.

Definitely buying new is better IMO also. Get the warranty and peace of mind that nobody else did anything abusive to your rig before you drove it. Everybody knows that overloading vehicles is bad for them though but sometimes it just has to be done...Like the guy who loaded 3125lbs...He had to do it for a customer...he doesn't do that all the time. As long as we all use our common sense we'll be good.
