Here is direct from Deaver's website:

1998-2006 TUNDRA/TACOMA 2WD/4WD 1.5" Lift, 3 leaf overload replacement F85 $211.11

DEAVER TOYOTA Products

Looks to me like PRG is pimpin' old springs on the new truck?????
I'm confused You act like you're uncovering some conspiracy with negative implications? I was on the phone with Greg as he drove a loaner Tundra to Deaver to have the prototype springs fitted - didn't seem like a simple bolt-in from the previous generation truck.

Let's assume they did "adapt" an existing springpack (I have no idea either way). If they work, improve the ride exponentially, and Greg initiated the process of making them available for our enjoyment, what's the issue?

Assuming your detective work is valid, that would mean that a business that is owned and operated by a husband and wife team is selling a product for EIGHT DOLLARS MORE than a national manufacturer that has been in business for almost 100 years.
