personally I would prefer the air ride over hydrualics. You can't beat the ride with air. Still the same affect is achieved  . When I was in a truck club years ago we took a trip from Redwood city to Riverside in my friends 3/4 ton chevy extended cab which was riding on bags. The ride was awesome. Even at 120 mph!!! Crazy Iknow but it was a fun trip
