Default Re: Questions about a Tundra 2WD Access Cab SR5 V6

EPA estimates the v6 2wd at 16 city/20 hwy and the v8 at 14 city/18 hwy. real world, i don't know.. i get 14-15 combined with my v8, people that claim much higher numbers are full of **** or drive like old men and never get about 2000 rpms, which is boring as hell.

personally i'd go with the v8; your reasoning that its because you don't want a "big truck" doesn't make any sense becuase the size of the truck is the same... it's just the motor under the hood that is smaller and less powerful.

if you want to save on mpg and don't care about payload or towing capacity, get a 4cyl tacoma 2wd with a 5MT. that'll be significantly more thrifty with the gas.
