Thanks for the response JR. This is for the wife's 05' Matrix

It's front wheel drive, and it looks like there is an individual bearing under the brake drum. It appears to be separate from the 5 lug plate for the studs, but the drum itself might have a slight interference fit- enough to require some puller fitting onto the drum using a slide hammer to pull it from the 5-lug flange. There are two holes in it, although they don't look threaded. I am hoping someone with a Matrix can post. If those holes are threaded, I will definitely set up th puller and give it a try.
