I almost bought the xrs as I wanted a fairly fuel efficient car,but with more power than my 2007 corolla for highway driving.I ended up buying a Camry LE v6 because the fuel mileage ratings were nearly the same and with the $3000 rebate on the 2008 Camry,the price difference was not all that much.I am still surprised that the larger much more powerful Camry delivers comparable fuel mileage to the corolla xrs.
