I replaced fuse #45 (Panel 7.5A), which solved my navigation problem (it now switches to night mode when I turn the lights on). However, the dash lights are still dead, and I have tested every single other fuse with zero success.

Has anyone experienced this before? Is there another relay/fuse that is hidden somewhere in the dash? Doesn't seem likely, but I'm out of ideas at this point. Any suggestions would be awesome.
Well on my 07 I did something similar. Now I bet are trucks are different to some degree but in my case the same thing happened. My first stupid mistake was wiring up stuff with the battery conected, will NEVER do that again.

Turns out the short fried a relay that is in the insturment cluster, one that is also tied into the odometer, which makes things even more tricky (read expensive) Dealer had to order a new cluster, which has to be pre programed by the manufacturer (dealer can not do it) for your current mileage. This is what happened to me at least. They changed the cluster and its fine now.
