Default Re: what did you change on 90k service?

$1000? That is freaking insane. I am at 88,000 miles. The dealer told me that the 90,000 mile service will include the timing belt, tranny service, and some other things that to me seemed unnecessary. e.g. door lock lube, spark plug change, borescope the engine.

They quoted the 90,000 mile service at $800 but like I said most of it was unnecessary. The timing belt was gonna be $369 for parts and labor. I think the tranny fluid was like $70. They didn't even mention the water pump, it wasn't on the quote.

I think I am gonna have the timing belt done but thats it. Everything else I can do on my own. I might have the fuel system flushed and the injectors cleaned while I'm at it.
