its not a tracking number, it is a confirmation number. tracking numbers are only available with express packages. priority mail packages will only update when they hit your local mail facility. they don't even get scanned in when the guy drops them off, which sucks. i ship via priority mail all the time and people always ask for a tracking number. course i have had some packages delivered, but never signed for, and the website still says electronic shipping information received.
