Good call on being skeptical. The stock cats are pretty close, if not already high flow. Replacing them would be pointless. Even removing them will show a tiny, if any, increase in power.

On an old vehicle with the trash can lid size cats, replacing them would help out a whole lot. On new vehicles, its a waste of time, unless they are clogged. And them becoming clogged would be rare as hell.
