So here is the low down....AirAid only loses the stock tubing if they see an increase in power...if they don't, they leave it to keep it quite...they have th ebest warranty on their systems, so if you dont like them, return it and you will get your $$ back. They have the same amount of cotton layer as everyone else, but they have a synthetic cotton layer to help prevent breakdown of the under layers, and they are using a higher grade rubberized compound so you don't have to worry about dry-rot...Volant is just over-priced. I run AirAid on all my vehicles and I love them. I refuse to run any other company's products...
