Default Re: Coming Soon for the Tundra---TRD Supercharged 5.7 Sequoia - Pics inside!!

lol! I have been watching this thread for a while. Guys nobody is an expert yet on this supercharger. Everybody is guessing! TRD has invested a whole lot of money in this system. First off manufacturers don't like power adders. The cost goes up and now you have reliability issues. A lot of man hours were put into this project so that it wouldn't tear the truck up. If its 50 hp or 100hp just be happy you can buy something from toyota that will give you that kind of gain without voiding your warranty. And if its to expensive, don't buy it. Theres not a lot of people out there is can drop $5000+ at one time. Its not for everyone! If you want to go fast for cheap buy nitrous. But don't go overboard. Its still your everyday truck. For me Im buying one regaurdless of power gain. Why because I can afford it! And their is nothing better in this life than supercharger whine.
