I recently put on the Airaid and have noticed the whistle. It isn't really that loud and it only happens with in a certain throttle range. I am very pleased with the results. The 5.7 is slightly snappier and at full throttle the roar is very intimidating. Also most after market intakes advertise a hp increase but what they don't say in the ads is it is peak hp at a certain rpm range. Most people don't drive around in that range anyway. I can't remember the range of the Airaid but it is up in the 4000 range. That is where most engines really start to open up. I like it and when I need it it prerforms nicely. The butt dyno says there is an increase but it is in the upper rpm's.
