Re: My turn... '09 Corolla XRS

Sweet car. I have an 09 S and love it also. I have the 1.8 so my average has been from 35mpg to 37mpg with no interstate but not really city either just country roads with some stop and go. The 1.8 has suprised me with it's pep and I'm satisfied. I was getting it for milage but wanted it to look good also.
Surprisingly good stock radio in these vehicles. I do wish the clock was not in line with the outside temperture becase I like both being displayed at the same time. Yours is probably different than mine on that.
You might want to look into the body side molding. I put it on mine and like the looks better and it offers some side protection. I paid like $80 for it. Looking for vent visors but haven't found any yet made for the 09. You can see the molding in the photo.
I also use to have a tundra. It was an 04 limited stepside with V8. Loved that truck but the fuel was eating me up.
These corolla's grow on ya and are super realiable and are very fuel effecient. With fuel pushing $3.50 per gallon I needed one vehicle that got good MPGs. I haven't been on the interstate yet but my 06 averaged 40 MPG running 75 with air. Hard to beat that.
Also how did you get your photos in the body of the post??
Thanks
Bob
