Default Re: Possible Tundra Bed Bounce CURE FOUND

its amazing the ride quality of this truck when it has a few hundred pounds in the back.. I was hauling a 30 gallon Air compressor. Probably weighs 200lbs. WOW! There's one particular bump on my way home that simply unavoidable as it's all the way across my lane and it's on a blind curve so I can't go into the other lane.. Everytime I see it I completely dread what comes next. Booinng!.

This time with the Air compressor in the back.. It goes over it and it's just a little Thump and the rear recovers immediately and doesn't sustain the bump at all. This is how it should ride no matter whats back there.

I wonder if someone were brave enough to have some cross braces welded to the frame.. Basically bridge one side to the other. I wonder if that would stop the frame from flexing..
