GREAT writeup Pedro. I just did the mod this weekend also but without the flip switch because my monitor doesn't flip down like yours, it's fixed in a certain angle so I couldn't do your mod unfortunately.. All I did was put a switch on the dash to toggle the camera off/on. Works great.

I highly recommend anyone thinking of doing this with the backup camera to go for it, as it serves a great purpose and should have been like this to begin with straight from the factory.
