Geeze... I just did what the Toyota Parts guy told me to. He said use pink it was better and lasts 100K. At the time it never occured to me there was still old fluid trapped left in the block.

The LL Red and SLL Pink are different formulas. The Pink can supercede a Red. But as we can see now, one should completely flush out the Red (with Distilled water) several times to remove any traces of the Older RED.

Be advised...it only takes one introduction of Plain tap water to corrode the cooling system. Then all that corrosion and muck yu find down the road is the resultant affect of this "wrong procedure".
Mixing Red with Pink would not be the direct cause of excessive corrosion.
