According to the ScanGauge, the Tundra 5.7 engine coolant, at normal operating temp, is +/-200F, not 180F, and this is with no load. Seems odd that the tranny fluid would be heated to +/-200F and then cooled to whatever temp by the cooler.
Oh well, I'm sure Toyota knows what they're doing.
