One question.... do you have the whistle? I moved the filter out a little and it still had the whistle. I haven't really been able to thoroughly investigate it... maybe i'll do it this weekend if my exhaust doesn't come in.
It does sound more of a whistle... almost like turbo. Definitely not the same "air sucking" sound that my AEM on my 4Runner had.
Glad you like it... i'll have to update on my review. I think my original review was a little premature. Don't get me wrong.... I love this thing and the beast it brought out of my truck. No Regrets..... yet.
