Default Re: 2007 Tundra TRD lowering suspension kit.

I got the full kit from ToyotaTerritory, and paid $1395 for it.

I installed the kit myself, without power tools; it took me two days to complete.
The kit supposes to give a 2/4 drop on the truck. I didn't measure my truck before the installation. So, I am not sure what the actual drops are.

The problem i came across is the bolt and nut used to connect the end line to the sway bar. They cross thread each other. See picture below:


The one on top came with the kit; the one below is the replacement i got from hardware store.

No dealer has the top lock nuts for the front shock. I wait for a week, and my local dealer still couldn't get them. So, i re-used the nuts came off the truck. Here is a picture for the front shock installed:

The ride was a bit rough than stock but it is not too far from it. However, I haven’t got the alignment done yet. I don't want to rate the ride yet.
