I really want to mention that the sound clips don't do it justice. The sound in person is a bit deeper and richer. I'm eager to hear how the sound evolves when I get some miles on the new system. I hear it gets better with time. The install was really easy... the hardest part was loosing the four stock bolts behind the cats. At little WD-40 did the trick.
I got a chance to do a little highway driving today, and verified the Corsa claim of no drone at cruising speed. My TRD cold air intake is louder at cruising speed than the Corsa is (that danged whistle at about 1800-2000 rpm).
During the install, I also took a video of the sound with no exhaust (direct dump after the cats)... but the papers that I had covering my license plate blew over and I'm not going to post my tags on the internet. Oh well. It sounded like a stock car. I took a few laps around the neighborhood and probably made a few enemies.  |
go look online for any type of sound editing software and you can take the sound directly from the video and change it to an actual sound clip, not a video, and nobody can see your plates. i really wanna hear what these beasts sound like without a muffler/cats lol
