Sounds like you have done your homework and know your stuff. Your 100% correct.

I always run the Airaid on my vehicles as well.

Volants products are not only over priced ( because of very low production numbers) but they are also made of very very poor quality, and the customer service they offer makes Walmart customer service look good.
