As much as I am drawn to the Platinum, when the time comes I (at this point, unless options change) will have to be going with the LTD since most of hte reason for moving to this type of vehicle is for a flat cargo floor and that rear console in the Plat's just doesn't work for me.
Still think you will really like this vehicle. As I said earlier, the real strong suit of this new Sequoia is the Engine and drivetrain.

Since I was set on having a fully loaded vehicle (I tend to keep my cars for a while, usually 7-8 years, if not more) the differential between the limited and Platinum was about $2500. For the incremental cost I was getting the following:

-- Memory seats (which should be an option on the limited, can't believe it isn't),
-- Adjustable suspension,
-- Power Tilt & Telescope wheel (nice feature as it gets out of the way when the key is removed).
-- heated and air cooled front seats (could care less if they are air cooled, tried them out and the sensation was weird, almost like my rear end was going numb).
-- Console (would have been even more amazing if the console were removable).
-- option for the DLCC.

If the Platinum were available with an MSRP of $50K, such that buyers could close at transaction around ~$45K, this car would be a home run.
