Default Clamp-on or bolted for camper shell?

What is the thought on attaching camper shells? I won't be removing it and I hope to keep the truck a long time.

I hesitated having it bolted on because they had to drill holes in the rail and I was afraid of rust (live on the coast). The clamps seem a little bit in the way, but I could get used to them as long as they don't let it shift.

The installers lined it up great so I hate to mess with it, but I need to get it done the best way before I start throwing a bunch of gear back there.

Any input on this would be appreciated.
Thanks

Use the clamps. I have six holding my ARE shell on my 07. The clamps are very secure but should be inspected every so often.

I have clamps on mine, shell has never moved in the 2 years I've had it and I have never tightened them once. Maybe I should check them soon!

I like the secure feeling of bolts.
