i Love my truck and its a beautiful truck but i have no idea what to do to it. Wether or not i should lift it which will create alot of drag, or should i slam it and put mods. I took it to the track and i see that these trucks have alot of potential. With a supercharger and a chip intake and more i know we will smoke the ford lightning.
Can you guys help and give me some pointers or pics of the things you guys have done i would appreciate it.
Simplicity --- leave it stock on the suspension (IMO) --- and get a SC. I have some pics but have'nt had a chance to upload them--- I'll do it as soon as I get home , if time permits.
I like the stock look but I'm thinking of getting new tires ..just to fill up the wheel wells ...some 265/75/R16 should do ---
How about meeting up with everyone at the Southern Cal meet at Tom's Farm?

I have a set of used Goodyear Wrangler AT/S 265-75-16 if you're interested. Asking $100 for all 4. They have about 20,000 miles on them. I'm sure they can go for another 20,000+ miles.
trdequipped02....i guess it all depends on what you are into and what you do w/ your truck. definitely a good way to decide is to come to the tom's farm meet. you'll probably see the majority set up for the off road, but we were pleasantly surprised by TS member DroppedTundra's TRD slammed (not anymore though) tundra last meet, so you never know who will stop by.

post a message on this thread: Tom's Farm this way you'll be up to date on what's going on.

I think those altezza lights would be a lame idea, but thats just my opinion, other than that, the sky's the limit.
I am gonna lift my truck conservatively (4-9) inches, and put some big ol tires on it, other than that I want to supercharge my truck and then get a nice clean sound system in it.
What is the most modified truck on these boards ???
I want to see some extreme stuff.
my gosh. are you aware that 265/75 R16's is what the tundra comes stock with? the TRD at least does. i think the base models get like 245's but 265's dont fill the wheel well very well. man i'm on a rappin' rhymin' roll here.

Just to educate you real quick DJ Jazzy Jeff, 265/75/16 tires do not come on ANY Tundra from the Factory. The size you are thinking of on the TRD models is actually 265/70/16. The difference is about an inch in height. This is why many people go to the 75 series, biggest tire you can fit with stock suspension. The 245 series tire is what comes on the non TRD equipped Tundras and are Dunlop Grand Treks. Just keepin it real S-Man, just keepin it real. Next time read up.
The 245s also come on all of the stock V6s. I had mine changed from steel wheels with 245s to 4Runner wheels with 265 70s.
Hey all of you So. Californians need to check out the Toms Farms get together on Feb. 22.
It's a great opportunity to compare your ride with others and get ideas.
Chuck
And it's free, just fun.

Then it is both 265 and 245 Dunlops on the non TRD Tundras. What I was really getting at was that 265/75/16's do not come stock on any Tundras. You have a choice of 245, or 265/70 depending on what package you get.
I loved the BFG's on my Tacoma so when we upgraded to the Tundra the first "mod" I made was 265/75R16 AT's. They definitely fill the holes around the axles, doubt you could squeeze much more in there without a shoe horn or a good body man.
They sure do well with the types of driving I do and they look great.
