This is a discussion thread titled "Post picks of your Line-X Xtra", within the Aftermarket Products forum, part of the Technical & Vehicle Assistance Forums category.
I would like to see picks of Line-x xtra..... I'm having my line-x done on Friday and I'm considering the xtra.... but I'm not sold yet. I'm not sure if it is worth it to me for the cost. I don't need the extra durability and I will have a cover on most of the time..... so fading shouldn't be a big issue. But, I think the color match would be sweet....

I had the Xtra installed about 6 weeks ago and it appears to have the same characteristics that paint has. It is still shiny and looks like it did when I left the Line X place. will post pics in the AM.

Here's a few. I have LOTS more if you want to see them!
Chevy Xtra color match.
White Xtra everywhere except the floor.
Charcoal Beige Xtra color match.
Jeep tub Xtra color match, still in the booth.
Regular LINE-X without Xtra.
Working overtime, pic from last night at about 11:00PM. From left to right: 1. Yukon, going to LINE-X the exterior, have not started yet. 2. Stripping out a Toff bedliner and installing LINE-X. 3. Chevy blue Xtra color match curing. 4. Yellow Xtra being applied the interior of a Jeep.
thanks for hooking me up 123Gone.... by any chance do you have any color match on a truck that is similar in color to my nautical blue???

Dang 123gone, i wish i were near you. can you recommend anyone in the so-cal area. I have a slate blue metallic crewmax with a Toneu cover, and i want the line-x in grey to match the car interior.
OK, I'll post this pick, but it is deceiving. It doesn't look like the color matches the truck, but I promise, it does, you're just going to have to trust me on this one. This paint acts like your Nautical Blue, it looks VERY different depending on the light. Look on the left, the truck's paint looks light blue, look on the right, it looks dark blue. The bedliner looks dark on the right and matches the paint over there and the tailgate looks lighter and matches the paint on the left. The bulkhead looks dark, but.... VERY difficult to get a pic that shows a good match in color. Below is a Naut. Blue Tundra. The rear looks totally different from the front due to the light.
thanks!!!! should my dealer forward some of his profit to you?

1. It will be the same "white" as your truck. The color pigments will be matched using the factory formula of your paint code. If your paint has metallic flakes, so will the Xtra.
2. White will be underneath. Also, Xtra contains a Kevlar micro pulp and is stain and scratch resistant.
If you get white, keep in mind that the bedliner has a texture and will tend to hold dirt, sand, and other stuff. So, if you decide to get white, you might want to consider a tonneau cover. Otherwise, you'll probably need to wash it off occasionally so that it will look clean.
EDIT: White and yellow are a real pain and we charge extra for those two colors.
