Aftermarket ProductsDiscussions about aftermarket products and accessories.
This is a discussion thread titled "SuperSprings 07 Tundra", within the Aftermarket Products forum, part of the Technical & Vehicle Assistance Forums category.
This truck is sold to an oilfield client and is our first install of supersprings on an 07. The client will be carrying heavy loads in the bed and the truck will see severe use... I'll post pics of the truck when its finished and try to get some feedback about the suspension upgrade.

Pic of where Toyota SHOULD have put the trailer harness... and pic of the super heavy duty Toyos.
Even on the 06 tundra it should have been mounted there, pics in my gallery on where I mounted mine behind the license plate with air bag schraders as well.
Only took a couple of times ripping it off where it was factory mounted to realize that it needed to go somewhere else.
It was actually quite a simple job to relocate the harness... any DIY mechanic with basic tools could do it. Once the license plate light was out, it only needed to be widened a bit and the hitch plug slid right in.

I purchased the Toytec 3in lift kit, with add a leaf. It helped considerably, when I towed my 350z and my friends Evo, on our two car trailor. Before, it would sag about two inches, now it is pretty level. Without the trailor attached, it is a tad more stiff it the rear though, nothing to complain about. I might add the supersprings eventually as well, since it is not needed, until weight is added.
