This is a discussion thread titled "Replacement Bumpers", within the Aftermarket Products forum, part of the Technical & Vehicle Assistance Forums category.
I have an ARB winch bumper on my Jeep Wrangler. It's a great bumper and I wouldn't hesitate to buy another one. They're super tough. At 280 lbs though, folks better be prepared to stiffin up the front end a bit. I have a hard time believing it weighs that much though. The one on my Jeep weighs about 100 lbs, and it's a tank. Maybe they meant kg since they are Aussies???

When I picked up the bumper in the box at their warehouse in Renton, WA it said 205 lbs. The brackets weigh around 35 lbs alone. This one has the bull bar and is slightly larger than 00-06's. The boxes and packaging was maybe 10 lbs.

I also am interested in a front bumper with a winch mount. My only concearn is I would like to keep my front sonar and does it affect the air bag sensor at all?
I just spoke with ARB USA moments ago and according to them the bull bar for the new Tundra weighs 200lbs and will require the 2.5" suspension modification. The bumper with the modification will run ya' about $2600-$2700.
Anyone know how much the ToughCountry bumpers weigh? What's the weight of the stock Tundra bumper?
The tough country Apache weighs a little under 200#'s with foglight sleeves and winch mount. check out their site Tough Country Products | Superior Quality, Durability, and Styling If you see something you like check with me maybe I can save you a couple of bucks.
The ARB Winch Bull Bar is a very professionally built product.
It has been made to work with the OEM Air Bag System, Lights, and Sonar.
Here are some of my pictures.
Hope it helps

I think if you want a grille replacement, ARB is by far the best Off-road bumper. The toughest (or at least what you'd think is the toughest) is probably the Ranch Hand or the Tough Country. There is no doubt the ARB is tough, and probably just as tough.
I'm at a southern college and I see a lot of ARB bumpers as well as Ranch Hands. One of my friends has an ARB bumper and likes it. Two of my friends (including myself) have Ranch Hand grille guards, and they can both attest to how tough they are. I'm sure I'll be able to attest to how tough they are as well later on.
Oh yeah, just the RH Grille guard weighs 112 lbs. It's not light at all. 12 guage steel. I'd hate to see what a full bumper replacement RH weighs, I'm sure well over the 200 and maybe even 300 or more lbs.
Here's the cheapest price I could find for the ARB.
If anyone has seen it cheaper anywhere, please let me know.
I’ll be holding off for about a month or two before I buy it.
ARB makes a quality product they use folded and welded construction, but the cost is the highest of the top three. ARB, Ranch Hand and Tough Country. I haven't checked with Ranch Hand but Tough Country allows for tow hooks, sonar, aux fog lights, winch mount, front hitch reciever and custom colors. ( some custom colors are dealer add ons). Plus they are made in Texas so there isn't a lot of inflated shipping added in. I'm not knocking any of the three all are top notch. Just adding my $.02
Their approach angles suck though, but they are Heavy duty and actually have a bumper ready for ordering over Road Armors stupid @sses.

Reason: D@MN Link wasn't working
wow holy overkill batman. no sh*t about approach angle. there is none, other than using the bumper for a show/sand/rock plow. hell that pic of the FJ, jeeze. they should have used more time in fabbing something functional rather than getting creative on the flow jet or whatever to cut their logo on the plate. id love to see that bumper on a non lifted 07+ and see how bad the front end would sag in three-five months.
one other thing that makes me a little curious. maybe they just used the wrong pic on their site but why are they announcing an 07+ bumper and showing a pre 07 rig that is obviously being using for R/D?? dont have an pre 07 truck but id assume the font end geometry is completely different or all the past mfg's of bumpers would just add the new model to their bumper fitment guide.. just wondering. overall bad design unless you have a 12" + lift and can clear the damn thing off the ground. this seems perfect for the guys that would buy the lift mentioned in the other thread. 15" on a tundra and that bumper. ummm....screams out small johnson but mom and dad have an amex card. best thing about that company seems to be the pic's of the chicks. my thoughts.
