Try this link:

Winch Bumper Complete

Not as bulky, good approach angle and not as expensive.

its the best approach angle u can get because the factory frame rails sit that low and i jsut went as low to protect them..it weighs only about a 150-200 lbs... i can pick it up myself but takes to to install cuz i the odd shape...the d rings come out and and can be put on the back.. i built it like that for work,to slide in a pipe rack i was gonan build and the 2 1" holes are for a stableizer arm for the pipe rack... and i can put a winch in the front or rear... and for the design ..i jsut went wiht what looked good with the trucks natural bodylines which ended up almost teh same shape as the factory bumer minus the 2 peice style..

We have the 00-06 bumpers done look at them on myspace MySpace.com - Iron Bull Bumpers - 25 - Male - PHOENIX, Arizona - www.myspace.com/ironbullbumpers the FJ bumper is just a bad pic, it doesn't look that bad in person, but i do agree it looks horrible, lol as for the 07-08 tundra, that bumper is being fab'd. I need some orders on it though. look at the pics on myspace of the older tundra (completed) and let me know what you think. visit the website at Iron Bull Winch Bumpers

I'd have to say get the WARN 12000 lb winch at least for the 07'. I have the 9.5xp on my 03' Tundra just because I wanted less weight up front and faster line speeds. If you ever got stuck in the 07' or wedged in an incline/hill in muck/mud just to the sidewalls the 9.5 series winches are going to be stressed to the max. Its goin to be similiar as being stuck to the hubs making the truck have 2x's the resistance (suction) around the mud making it seem like a 11,000 vehicle. Here's info on recovery and explanation on grades and the resistance to pull. Pirate4x4.Com - Extreme Four Wheel Drive

I brought my weight down to 60lbs over 89 lbs on the 9.5XP with the 100' steel wire and steel rollers. Its 44 lbs. for the the winch itself, 7 lbs. for the HD synthetic Winch Rope, ATV Winch Ropes, 4X4 Rope, MASTER-PULL 3/8" 85' rope and clevis with Delrin rollers and the powdercoated fairlead weighing in at 9 lbs over 15 lbs with the 4 Steel rollers.

I would think you could shave 50+ lbs off the 12K or 15K WARN winches by doing the same thing and having a very strong and light setup. My 3/8" HD synthetic rope has a breaking strength of 26,500 lbs, the HD synthetic rope in7/16" diameter is 40,000 lbs Breaking strength. I say get the 3/8" for the 07' Tundra in 125' length being its plenty stong already over the same 3/8" ( 14-16K lbs breaking strength ) steel wire provided for the 12 or 15K WARN winches.

Thanks for the info/links. The weight is definately a concern. I go up with my Jeep friends in the mud/snow and I definately am the one that is bound to get stuck, although most of the time I cant get this beast back in where they go...but I have had to pull a few jeeps loose lol

Yeah. Also for any other tips on weight saving you should check out this information and also for line speeds under load and make a decision on whats best. Since the 16.5 WARN fits ( http://www.arbusa.com/USA-Vehicle-Ap...tion_chart.pdf) I would get that if I owned the 07' Tundra with the ARB bull bar then just put on the 3/8" synthetic rope in 125'. If you like Ramsey winches, I'd get one of those.

WARN winches: Open them up seperately and compare speeds and weights. 16.5 is the best for the WARN winches IMO considering line speeds. That 90' of 7/16" wire probably weighs 50+ lbs alone. And synthetic rope is light. 85' weighs 7 lbs with the clevis hook from Masterpull. I weighed my bundled 100' of wire in 5/16" diameter at 27 lbs on the scale.
16.5ti: 138 lbs. with 90' of 7/16" wire.Warn Industries - Heavy-Weight Series: 16.5ti
M15000: 136 lbs. with 90' of 7/16" diameter wire Warn Industries - Heavy-Weight Series: M15000
M12000: 136 lbs with 125' of 3/8" wire Warn Industries - Heavy-Weight Series: M12000

Ramsey winches:
Patriot Profile 12000: 112 lbs. with 125' of 3/8" wire| Ramsey Winch |
Patriot 15000: 120 lbs with 90' of 7/16" wire| Ramsey Winch |

Whatever you do decide on I suggest you get a wire-less remote control. They're awesome to use. I have one and its very useful being anywhere instead of constantly 10 feet away with the handheld walking beside or tackling with the wire getting in/out the truck or driving/steering. Also I found the best deals at Sams Offroad. And he will beat the price if you can find one better and have proof of it. But they are the best prices. Look at em' and compare. Package deals on the Ramsey winches right now.

Also a Pull-Pal is a good investment when you have no anchor point or within reach and need to make one. I bought one from them and its a beefy piece of equipment worth the price.

HAha anything else you want?
Yes , well I would suggest these. And only these.

Australian product: Just like the ARB bumper, Light Force Lights. H.I.D. Lightforce Lights - High-intensity discharge Upgrade Lexan covers, 6 of which to choose from ( Video is in there for how tough the lights are and an idea of how bright ), changable lenses (combo lense: wide angle beam and long range in one or seperated, your choice) for different color variations and conditions, such as for rain (blueish, hint), fog, snow (Yellow ororange lense), offroading in dusty conditions.

Heres where I would buy them:Off-Road Lights :: Lightforce Lights :: HID - High Intensity Discharge Lights
Lexan Covers: Off-Road Lights :: Lightforce Lights :: 240 Filter/Cover - Wide Angle/Spot Beam Combo
Right from LightForce USA's website on the light specs, information on everything:
http://www.lightforce.net.au/images/DRIVINGLIGHT.pdf
http://www.lightforceusa.com/images/...webversion.pdf

Dick (guy I talked to) has the complete conversion HID Lightforce Lights in the 170 ( 6.5" reflector ) or 240 ( 9.5" reflector ) series . This is for the Lights (170 or 240) the HIDs, ballasts, and it's a unbeatable deal for what they're including and what it is over any other HID kit considering other price tags ($1000 - $1200 for two) for a comparable output of light. The Bulbs come in 35watt at 4300K or 6000K , your choice. I would get the 9.5" size if they're able to fit the ARB bumper light mount locations as it will be putting out about 1,500,000 candlepower , maybe more(seriously if you doubt this, look it up a 240 puts out about 730,000 candlepower with a 100watt halogen) per light. You should be able to see things 1200 meters away. since they are twice as bright of light over the halogen.

Here they are if you just want them in Halogen for 170s @$213Off-Road Lights :: Lightforce Lights :: Lightforce Driving Lights - Striker Series :: RMDL170 TwinPack Driving Light - Striker or 240's @ $276 Off-Road Lights :: Lightforce Lights :: Lightforce Lights - Blitz Series :: RMDL240 TwinPack Driving Lights - Blitz

Here are some videos on the Lightforce Lights with comparisons on bulb strengths for the HID's with that conversion as you can see the same ballasts are used in that kit I'd shown earlier.

HID in 35 and 45watt: YouTube - Lightforce XGT spotlight with 45 watt HID

This one is nuts: 7 bulbs ='ing 295 watts of HID power in one reflector. HAHAHAHA... YouTube - 7 bulbed 295 watt HID Lightforce Blitz

Another point to show how strong these are: YouTube - LIGHTFORCE "LIGHT LOGIC" V-1.0
