Aftermarket ProductsDiscussions about aftermarket products and accessories.
This is a discussion thread titled "Replacement Bumpers", within the Aftermarket Products forum, part of the Technical & Vehicle Assistance Forums category.
Been looking into front replacement bumpers, similar to the Ranch Hand Bumpers, yes I know all about the front end problems with ranch hand bumpers. I have found a company that makes a lighter version, but still has the protection factor. Had a friend who hit a deer down in South Texas and instead of the original bumper put on one of these. Couple of weeks after the repairs hit another deer (down on the coast they jump out without warning except during deer season ha). He had no damage, thus the reason for wanting a replacement bumper here in Texas. The problem being I have called a couple of times and they say they have not designed one for the 07 Tundra because they have not had that many request. If interested in a Frontier replacement bumper the number is 1.800.634.3086. Some may thing it is a waste of money and looks stupid which is alright, but those of us interested give them a call.
got an arb catalog a few weeks back and saw they had a combination bumper/bar available for the 07 tundra. have no idea what it looks like, but has peaked my interest. anyone with pics of this? they put out a great looking product.
Just got this pic from Tough Country. As soon as my truck comes in, I'm ordering one in Radiant Red Line-X Xtra.......

the guard is fugly, wayyy fugly. the bottom portion isn't bad. kinda road armor-ish i guess. only thing about that i would guess you would have to do is a coilover that is adjustable. my thinking is if you do just a spacer on stock springs over time its gonna sag and look like crap. my .02
cheers

i like the lower part also. the top part i'm not too crazy about. i dunno, maybe it's the angle i'm looking at, but doesn't look beefy enough and may shake alot while driving. curious about the arb. any other bumpers out there?

I'm liking their Apache version more, each time I see the headlight guards.....they ought to hug the body more and match the point on the ends of the headlight housing. The Apache versoin has the lower portion and a center loop without the guards.........
TRUST ME....this entire thing is solid and WILL NOT SHAKE.......I hit a 275 lb hog at 40 mph with my Super Duty and NO DAMAGE at all!

RE:arb tundra bumper
We will be offering two different bumpers for the new Tundra.
ARB winch bumper is part number 3415010.
ARB non winch bumper is part number 3215010.
The winch bumpers are currently in stock, however they weigh about
280lbs + the additional weight of a winch. Therefore many of our Dealers
are waiting for our Old Man Emu suspension system which will provide
about 2"-3" of height over stock even with the additional weight of the
bumper and winch.
