Go with nerf bars...I think they look much better than runningboards

Go with the tubes. I actually had a chance to see the running boards on my truck because the dealership installed the wrong ones. I wasnt going to say anything since the boards were more than the tubes but they just didnt look good on my truck. Had them take them off and put the tubes on. Toyota Tundra Parts and Tundra Accessories Store : Tube Steps - Chrome - CrewMax - 2007 Toyota Tundra [PT212-3407D-31] - $479.00$407.15 Heres a link for the ones like I have but they are about $200 cheaper here than at the dealer.

I like the running boards the skinny tubes and nerf bars I don't like they are so skinny
I mean how mush can htose things take I was reading on here some were that some
one was having trouble with some nerf bars that came on an X-SP tundra they were
bubleing excuess the miss spell any way I personaly would not want the skinny things
but it is your money.

but I do like toyota running boards they seem pretty good depending on which kind you get.

I installed the same Rampage running boards as BillyBob and they work just fine. My only complaint is that the product instructions are TERRIBLE.

There's about half a dozen things they don't tell you that you are left to figure out on your own. Once you do that, installation is fairly easy to the existing holes underneath.

Also, one of my brackets was wrong but I was able to fix that with a minor mod.

Overall, they function and look fine so I've got no complaints.

Hi there - I'm actually about to install these this weekend. What kind of things were not included in the instructions? Thanks!

We installed the AMP Research Power Steps on our Tundra last week. Easy to install, they retract away so you don't see them until you open the door and they extend down. Just another option.

I like the brushed SS steps from Toyota. They are very solid, wide enough to be useful and at frame level.

Your truck looks great.. but just to clarify for Mikey6840, our steps are slightly different. My steps came with Fender Flare w/ brushed SS step boards option.. I just deleted the Fender Flares (for a price reduction, of course). The only difference I can tell is that the actual treads and end caps are slightly different... but I couldn't find them like that as a stand alone option...
