Just had my liner put in from Vortex in Lex Ky no problems looks great and a very nice price. And it don't look like that "SAMPLE" the guy from line-X shows. Guy is very nice and easy to deal with 859-338-4146
Here Is some pic's of my friends car that was done in VORTEX in Lex Ky. This is what helped me make a choice "& Line-X's Attitude" to go with this guy. Looks Clean no runs or "CHEESE" as some people put it and was HALF the price of Line-X and $200 less than rhino

Did you get the optional KV-40 topcoat or are you going to get a tonneau cover?
Without a tonneau or the KV-40 topcoat, the bedliner will begin to fade within 3 months if exposed to the sun. That bothers some, but not others, and probably doesn't bother you since you didn't get KV-40.
Actually, both LINE-X and Vortex should be applied at the same thickness, about 3/8" on the floor and about 1/8" on the sides. If yours is thicker than that, then I'd say you got a bonus.
100% polyurethane bedliners brands need to be a little thicker than what's noted above.
Here are two pic's of the Vortex liner that was sprayed, of course every liner has different look to it thats called "choice". But mine looks great!!!!
i had my truck for 4 days before i got vortex sprayed in it. it looks good and works good for what i need it for. i dont think its as tuff as rhino or line x but i dont need it to be. the only complaint i have about it is stuff slides around on it, its got a slick texture to it and doesnt grab stuff like rhino.
Many companies say "up to" because it's impossible to have the bedliner the exact same thickness everywhere. And, 1/4" is probably going to be the most thickness in the bedliner, if that. LINE-X Corp. does have minimum thickness standards.
LINE-X dealers are franchises. There are good and bad points to franchises. But, as far as LINE-X franchising goes, the winner is the consumer. Basically, there is a contract between LINE-X Corp. and the dealer. Corp. must perform certain things and the dealer has to perform certain things. What the consumer gets (or should get) is a high quality product applied by a trained professional. I can tell you that in the last couple of years, LINE-X Corp. has shut down some dealers who violated the franchise agreement. Have you ever been to a McDonalds and had a bad burger? Probably not, one reason is because they are franchised operations.
