From KC's website
http://www.kchilites.com/store/faq/i...layDiagram.pdf
You could bypass the switch and connect the green (load) wire to the positive wire of your highbeams.

Here's how I wired my Hella 500's. If you do not have an aftermarket fuseblock, think of the + and - as continuous with a fuse on the + wire between the battery and relay.

There's no need to TYPE IN CAPS,it's like YELLING TO SOMEONE IN PERSON.

Are you having a problem running the wires into the interior or a problem wiring the lights? If it's wiring, the diagram from KC's website is pretty self-explanatory. Did KC furnish a wiring harness and relay?

Wink Re: Off road light wiring help!!!

yeah sorry about the caps!!! Umm KC gives you a wiring diagram but its not vehicle specific!!! I need to know exactly what to do for the truck. I know i can do it just tell me how to run the wires and mount the switch and all that jazz. the instructions are very vague for someone that has never done this stuff in their life.

I'm going by the colors in the KC website diagram I posted. I highly suggest using a multimeter or at least a test light.

Run the green wire through a grommet on the firewall, more details here: http://www.tundrasolutions.com/forum...l-for-dummies/

If you want to be able to switch on the lights basically any time, connect white to the cigarette lighter's positive wire. Switch on only when the parking or headlights are on,connect white to the lighter's illumination positive wire instead. This is where a multimeter or testlight is needed.

Brown is a ground,self-explanatory.

Most people mount switches in the area where the stock foglight switch is located. Search around, you should find posts and pics. Here's a recent thread Switching to Missiles

The relay mounts in the engine bay. There are several threaded holes all over, most of them use a 6mm x 1.0 bolt, Go to a car parts store or home improvement store and get some of those bolts to mount the relay and for grounds. You may need to open up the relay's mounting tab hole.

85,86,87,and 30 are the terminals of the relay. Turn it upside down and you should see the numbers. Connect the wires to the terminals according to the KC diagram. Black is a ground,so is the other wire connected to each light. Yellow connects to the battery's positive terminal. Do not install the fuse until everything is wired properly.

You have all the reference to wire the the lights. It's your decision where and how you run (locate) the wires.

You can take a look at my thread on Yotatech.com (link in my signature). I have some pictures of how I wired my driving lights up, nothing too detailed though. Warning, that thread has a LOT of pictures If you have any doubt, I'd get someone to install them for you, I wouldn't want you to burn down your truck or anything

I am re-organizing my pictures, please PM me if you find dead pictures and I'll fix it. Also, I don't have many pics in my account here, best place to view my truck is on photobucket: Here is my photobucket account: LINK

Had them install them yesterday!!! the only dislike i have is the how they put the switch in the cabin. I thought those two blank black things next to the dash dimmer come out. the switch sticks out and is not back in there flush with the dash. if you think its something i can fix or not let me know otherwise i am taking it back to them and see what can be done. I could have done wired the lights in the engine bay but getting them in the cabin was kinda scary for me. I just didnt want to mess anything else up.

The two blanks do come out but, the inside not the outside. You'll have to remove the lower trim in order to access. Here's how my switches look
