Hi everyone. I've read what I think are most of the post here about Husky vs. Weather Tech floor liners and yet it seems as if its 50/50. I've had Husky liners in the past 2 trucks I've owned and thought they did a great job. Butt, wondering if I should give the Weather Tech's a shot, they look pretty sharp. I read alot about complaints or critism about the Weather Techs have the holes in the drivers side which people claim would allow dirt/water in the hole, as well as the issue of the lack of coverage behind the peddle. Does anyone that owns the Weather Tech have issues with the holes allowing crap in or the area behind the peddle getting dirty...I think hearing from those that own the Weather Techs and have 1st hand experience would be very helpful in helping me decide. Thanks
I have the Weather Tech Mats front and rear, see no problem with the holes in drivers side mat nor the fact that the mat does not go under the gas pedle, my freind who has the Husky mats likes my mats better,
I removed my carpeted floor mats in Oct and replaced them for the fall/winter with the WeatherTech floor liners and I am very happy with them. I hunt and fish and we have had lots of mud and snow (snowing real hard right now) and the holes in the back part of the floor mats are NO problem at all. They are raised so you can NOT have anything leak through. These holes that everyone speaks of is for the hooks that are on the floor to keep the mats/floor liners from sliding around.
Also I haven't had anything behind the gas pedal either. I would purchase these again in a heart beat.
The WeatherTech floor liners fit real well and come all the way to the door.

the weather techs actually channel the water out the door. my friend has the huskys and has an ice rink in his when it's freezing out which is like every day here from nov-march. -16 right now- yay.
Another question I had was it looks as if the Weather Tech liners go to about 1/2 way over the door sill. Does that interfere with the door closing at all? Thanks again.
Ive had my weather techs for like 2 weeks and I LOVE them! No issues with dirt and/or water getting in the holes towards the back of the mat. Would purchase these again if I had to

I am a very happy weathertech owner....very easy to clean and look brand new every time I do. As for stuff getting on the carpet...the holes where your mats are held down do not ever cause a problem. Water never gets on the mat under the gas pedal either...I think the water runs down your boot to the heal, which is of course on the liner, so no problemo there. I just did a good cleaning of the truck and there was a little bit of sand under the gas pedal, but no salt residue from water at all. I actually just ordered the ones for the rear also. And I know this is gonna sound kinda crazy, but I found that if you already have the all weather mats from Toyota, they fit perfectly on the weathertechs...double the protection!!! Yeah, I'm a little OCD, but what truck lover isn't!

Here is the deal...I have the Weather Techs and love them. I have had Husky liners in my previous Tundra and they did not do what I wanted them to. I think it boils down to personal preference. People with the WT's like them and people with Husky's like them...kind of hard to get a fair answer...I think you need to purchase them and see what you like best. WT's are custom fitted where Husky's aren't. Hope this helps.
I've got the Weather Techs, spent a week up in Tahoe, everyone in and out of my truck with snow and dirt covered boots...they worked great, no issues whatsoever...
I have had both. I like WT'S better. The coverage is great, no leaking and they channel water out the door, besides protecting you door sills. Bought mine on E-bay, new in the box for 89.00 front and back(shipping includ.).
i bought husky liners for mine, matches the color perfectly, also have them in my dads 05 tundra dc and had them in my 00 4runner....never had a problem out of them, they are kind of expensive but they are worth it in the long run because they save your interior...had my husky liners since june and not a spot on my carpet...covers and fits my interior perfect, front and back seats.

Husky's in my front and rear. Coverage and fit is very nice! I like how the rear piece covers the hump and extends almost to the back of the cab under the seat.
