Default 2008 Tundra grille4you

Trying to find out if anyone else out there has purchased and installed a grille for their 2008 Tundra from Grille4you. After reading many posts throughout this website I decided to purchase a grille from them off of ebay.
I purchased the No Logo cutout version of the grille and it is the bolt-on type. However, it does not look like the mounts on the grille4u are correct for the 2008 model. Not sure if the 2007 model has a different setup on the OEM grille? Basically the grille4you version the mounts are either too high or too low and don't seem to allow the bolts to pass through any portion of the original grille to allow the brackets to mount on backside. Check out the pictures to see what I'm talking about. Just waiting on a response from grille4you, they are looking at my pictures and are supposed to be getting back to me with either directions or return of item for refund. Was basically wondering if anyone else out there has had this issue or figured out a correct way of mounting it properly?

I ordered a set of chrome nerf bars from grille4you on ebay for my 2008 crewmax. The picture on the website showed nerf bars for another make and model so I was a little skeptical. But when I received the package, it had farily detailed installation instructions with pictures and all the parts fit perfectly. I would guess that grill4you is just using an old picture or something, but I would think that if the description said it was for a 2008 Tundra, it will probably fit.

Thanks for replies. It did say for 2008, but it just didn't lineup to allow it to mount properly in anyway that would make it mountable without cutting out portions of the original grille or jerry rigging it in some sort of fashion.

Basically wondering if I am the only one that had these problems or did they just make the mounts incorrectly.

Just to follow up. I ended up going with a carriage works bolt over grille. It looks nice and couldn't be happier with the outcome. It took me longer to open the package than to install the grille also.

Well, basically the G4U cost $99 with shipping from them off of ebay and the CW I got for $137.
Also the G4U seemed to be slightly lower grade material allowing it to bend somewhat easier. The G4U had quite a few of the slats were somewhat bent, whereas the CW grill all the slats were quite straight and not as easily bendable. I had gotten a reply back from G4U also stating that if I had to cut part of my grill they would send me a $10 credit, whoo hoooo!! Basically jerry rig it, I would have had to jerry rig it as well since the mounts didn't even align up with any part of the OEM grille. Needless to say, they refunded my money. And I would recommend the CW grille to anyone interested in a grille, the extra $40 is not really worth the troubles in my opinion.
